Between two sizes? We usually recommend the larger size, unless stated otherwise on the product. In our experience, Italian brands (such as Animo, Cavalleria Toscana and Vestrum) tend to come up small.

Rugs

How to measure your horse: using a soft tape measure, measure from the centre of the chest, over the point of the shoulder, horizontally along the body to the furthest point of the hindquarters. This is the total length.

Always check the brand's size chart. A rug size in cm (for example 125 or 145) is the back length for most brands, and how it converts to feet differs per brand. Some brands, such as Bucas, also measure differently. That's why every rug comes with the brand's own size information.

The table below converts the total length from feet to cm. This conversion is the same for every brand.

It comes in a Dressage and a Show Jumping version, in size Full and in five colours. Intended for riders who value not only functionality but also the appearance of their equipment.

About this saddle pad

The Kentucky Horsewear Classic Onion Plaited Glitter Rope saddle pad starts from a classic: the onion quilt pattern, with its rounded teardrop shape, gives the pad a timeless, well-turned-out look. On top of that comes a plaited decorative rope with a glitter detail along the edge. Those two together make the pad elegant without the whole becoming too pronounced, and that is exactly what this model aims for.

You can put it just as easily under a schooling outfit as with a more formal competition turnout. The onion pattern carries the classic base, while the rope and the glitter finish set a subtle accent on it.

The model comes in two versions, entirely determined by your saddle. The Dressage version follows the longer, straighter shape of a dressage saddle. If you want a coordinated set, choose accessories in the same colour from our range. With black or navy you easily build a classic set; old rose and beige ask for a little more matching with the rest of your equipment.
