Clothing that is too tight or too loose can restrict your freedom of movement and affect your aids. Always measure carefully and use our size charts as a guide.

Between two sizes? We usually recommend the larger size, unless stated otherwise on the product. In our experience, Italian brands (such as Animo, Cavalleria Toscana and Vestrum) tend to come up small.
Rugs
How to measure your horse: using a soft tape measure, measure from the centre of the chest, over the point of the shoulder, horizontally along the body to the furthest point of the hindquarters. This is the total length.
Always check the brand's size chart. A rug size in cm (for example 125 or 145) is the back length for most brands, and how it converts to feet differs per brand. Some brands, such as Bucas, also measure differently. That's why every rug comes with the brand's own size information.
The table below converts the total length from feet to cm. This conversion is the same for every brand.

The Kentucky Leather Reins with Elastic Draw Rein from the Working Collection are designed to promote a more stable and softer contact between rider and pony. Thanks to the integrated adjustable elastic draw rein, these reins help prevent sudden jerks on the reins while maintaining the pony's natural movement. This creates a more consistent connection and a calm action.
About these reins
The reins are made from buffalo leather, which is supple in the hand yet very durable. The leather stops provide extra grip and help to keep the hands in a correct position at all times. This makes the reins particularly suitable for young riders, novice combinations, and anyone who wants to work on an independent hand and an even contact.
The secondary elastic draw rein is easily adjustable, so the level of support can be adapted to the needs of both pony and rider. The elastic insert provides controlled flexibility without exerting harsh pressure on the horse's mouth. This limits excessive downward pressure and keeps communication with the pony refined and comfortable.
Suitable for daily use, riding lessons, and training, these reins offer a combination of control, comfort, and freedom of movement. Available in brown and black, so they match the rest of your equipment.
