Size guide

A correct size is essential for both comfort and performance in equestrian sports. At Maddelin Equestrian, we are happy to help you choose the right size so that your equipment fits perfectly—whether it's riding apparel, helmets, boots, or accessories.
A well-fitting outfit not only ensures greater comfort but also better performance in the saddle. Clothing that is too tight or too loose can restrict your freedom of movement and affect your aids. Therefore, we recommend always measuring accurately and using our size charts as a guide.
Our size charts are organized by product category and brand, allowing you to choose as precisely as possible. Because fits can vary by brand, you will find specific information with each product to guide you.
How to measure correctly?
For the best results, always measure with a flexible tape measure, close to the body but without tightening.
-
Chest circumference: measure around the widest part of the chest
-
Waist: measure around the narrowest part of your waist
-
Hips: measure around the widest part of the hips
-
Inseam length: measure from groin to ankle
-
Head circumference (helmets): measure just above the eyebrows and ears
-
Calf circumference & height (boots/chaps): measure the widest part of the calf and the height from heel to hollow of the knee
If you are in doubt between two sizes? We usually advise choosing the larger size for extra comfort, unless otherwise stated with the product.
At Maddelin, we believe that the right fit makes all the difference between just riding and truly riding well. Use our size charts as a guide and confidently choose the size that suits you and your horse.
BR Carabiner Stainless Steel 8x80 mm for Trailer Line
The BR carabiner 8 x 80 mm is an essential component for any rider who prioritizes safety and reliability when securing their horse. Whether you're securing your horse in the trailer, working in the stable, or need a strong connection with a rope or line — this carabiner offers the security you're looking for.
Made from high-quality stainless steel, this hook can withstand intensive daily use and various weather conditions. Rain, moisture, or dirt do not affect its operation, so you can always count on a durable and reliable attachment. This makes it particularly suitable for use on the go and in the stable environment.
The closing system is designed to remain sturdy and secure, even when your horse moves or puts tension on the line. At the same time, the hook remains easy to use: you can quickly clip it on or off, which is convenient in situations where efficiency is important.
In combination with a trailer line, this carabiner forms a small but crucial link in the safety of your horse.
