Measure your child, ideally without shoes and with their back against a wall, and compare that height with Joline's size chart. If your child falls within the 122-128 range, these breeches are an option. If they are just above or below it, or if you are unsure, get in touch with the shop. Joline uses its own size breakdown, and we would rather work out the right size together than have you send them back.

If 122-128 does not fit, the same Joline model is available in other colours in a wider size range, including Navy, white and Chocolate Brown. That way you can find the right size without switching models.

Wear the breeches with riding boots or jodhpur boots: the elasticated cuffs go inside the boot. After riding, wash them inside out at 30°C and leave them to air dry.

Choose the Petrol Blue if your child wears size 122-128 and you are looking for dark riding breeches with full grip for lessons, training and hacking. If you are looking for breeches for competitions, white and beige are the usual colours: take a look at the Joline in white or beige, and check the rules of your discipline and federation.

The silicone grip in a J pattern runs across the seat and the inside of the legs. Wear the breeches with riding boots or jodhpur boots: the elasticated ankle cuffs go inside the boot. The high waistband has belt loops.

Get in touch with the shop with your child's height. Joline uses its own size chart, so looking at it together is more reliable than guessing by age.

What does full grip mean on these breeches?
The silicone grip runs across the whole seat and the inside of the legs, not just at the knee. That gives security and contact with the saddle.

How do I wash these breeches?
Inside out at 30°C, with similar colours. Do not tumble dry; leave the breeches to air dry.

What are the elasticated cuffs at the bottom for?
They keep the legs in place in the riding boot, so the breeches do not ride up while riding.
