If the weather gets milder, you don't have to change blankets immediately: thanks to the liner loops, you can adapt the system with compatible layers.

Regularly check the fit around the chest, withers and shoulders, and adjust the cross surcingles so that you can slide a flat hand between them.

When is an alternative better?If you primarily need protection against rain and no extra warmth, a version without filling is a more logical choice. If your horse is mainly stabled, consider a stable blanket instead of a turnout.

Place the blanket centrally over the back and first close the V-Front chest closure. Then attach the three cross surcingles and the tail cord. Check that there is enough room at the shoulders and that the blanket does not pull backwards. A neck piece is attached via the hood loops; compatible liners via the liner loops.

What exactly does Vari-Layer mean?

Vari-Layer distributes the filling unevenly across the blanket: more insulation over the back and loins, less over the shoulders. This keeps your horse warm where it's needed and allows freedom of movement where it moves.

What is Barrier Layer Technology?

An extra waterproof layer under the outer fabric. If the outer fabric gets damaged, the blanket remains waterproof.

Is a neck piece included?

No. The blanket has hood loops, but the matching neck piece is available separately.

Should I choose 250 g or 450 g?

250 g is sufficient for most Belgian winters. Choose 450 g for freezing weather, for sensitive horses, or if your horse stays outside day and night.

Which size do I need?

Measure from the middle of the chest, along the flank, to the tailbone. If you are in doubt between two sizes, choose the larger one.
