With this bundle, you can build four warmth levels:100 gwith the outer rug alone, 200 gwith the thin liner, 300 gwith the thick liner, and 400 gwith both liners together.

Feel behind the withers daily. If your horse is warm and dry there, you're good. If it's damp, the rug is too warm, and your horse is sweating underneath it.

Remove the liners from the rug when storing it. This way, everything dries faster, and the filling retains its volume.

Who is it for?
For riders whose horses are permanently stabled outdoors and who want to cover the entire season with one system instead of four separate blankets.

When to use?
From autumn to early spring. You adjust the warmth with the liners as the temperature drops or rises.

Which horses?
Especially for horses in a pasture with lots of vegetation or in a herd, where the ripstop outer fabric really makes a difference.

When is an alternative better?
If you know exactly what warmth your horse needs and that doesn't change much, then you'll be paying for layers that will just sit in the cupboard. A separate turnout in the correct grammage is then more economical.

First, choose the liner or liners that match the temperature and attach them to the liner loops in the outer rug. Lay the entire rug centrally over the back and close the V-Front chest fastening. Then fasten the three cross surcingles and the tail cord. Attach the neck piece with the velcro sandwich fastening: fold the flap completely over so that no water can get in. Check that your horse can move freely and that the rug does not pull backwards.

What exactly is included in the bundle?

A 100g turnout rug, a 100g liner, a 200g liner, and a detachable neck piece.

Can I use both liners at the same time?

Yes. Together with the turnout rug, you will then have 400g, a real winter rug for clipped horses and freezing weather.

What exactly is ripstop?

A fabric with interwoven reinforcing threads in a diamond pattern. If a tear does occur, it won't spread into a large hole.

What are safety surcingles?

Surcingles that detach when too much pulling force is applied, for example, if your horse gets caught on something. This reduces the risk of injury.

What size do I need?

Measure from the center of the chest, along the flank, to the tailbone. If you are in doubt between two sizes, choose the larger one.
