Product Information
The Horseware Amigo Ripstop 900D Plus Turnout is a waterproof and breathable turnout rug with a strong 900D ripstop polyester outer fabric and a detachable neck piece. This Plus version is a practical choice if you're looking for a versatile rain rug that can be adapted to various weather conditions.
The outer is made from 900D ripstop polyester. In ripstop fabric, a reinforcing structure is incorporated into the material to improve its resistance to damage. The outer fabric is waterproof and breathable, making it specifically designed for turnout use.
At the front, the rug features a straight front closure. The leg arches at the front are designed to give the horse ample freedom of movement. Two cross surcingles under the belly and a tail cord help to keep the rug in place during turnout. There are also attachment options for optional leg straps.
A significant advantage of the Plus version is the included detachable neck piece. In rain or when you want more coverage, you can attach the neck. When a neck piece is not needed, it can be easily removed. The liner loops also make the rug compatible with the Horseware Liner System. This allows you to add extra insulation without having to use a completely different turnout rug each time.
Inside, there is a polyester lining that is anti-static, anti-bacterial, and shine-enhancing. A tail flap provides extra coverage at the back.
The Amigo Ripstop 900D Plus Turnout is available in 0g, 100g, and 200g versions, among others. This allows you to choose between an unlined rain rug and models with extra insulation.
