With this bundle, you build four levels of warmth:50 gwith the outer rug only,150 gwith the thin liner,250 gwith the thick liner, and350 gwith both liners together.

Feel behind the withers daily. Warm and dry means you're doing well. Damp means the rug is too warm and your horse is sweating underneath.

Remove the liners from the rug when storing it. This way, everything dries faster and the filling retains its volume.

For whom?For riders building a complete blanket system for the first time, or for those who want a second set so there's always a dry blanket ready.

When to use?From autumn to early spring. Adjust the warmth with the liners as the temperature drops or rises.

For which horses?Suitable for horses sized 6'3" to 6'9" that are turned out daily.

When is an alternative better?If your horse is in a rough pasture or with a herd that isn't gentle, consider the Rambo line with a ballistic nylon outer fabric. It's more expensive, but lasts longer in those conditions.

First choose the liner or liners that suit the temperature and attach them to the liner loops in the outer rug. Place the rug centrally over the back and close the V-Front chest closure. Then fasten the three surcingles and the tail cord. Attach the neck cover via the hood loops. Check that your horse can move freely and that the rug does not pull backwards.

What exactly is included in the bundle?

A 50g outer rug, a 100g liner, a 200g liner, and a detachable neck piece.

What is the difference from the Rambo bundles?

The Amigo uses a 1200D polyester outer fabric, while the Rambo line uses ballistic nylon. For a regular pasture, the Amigo is more than sufficient; if your horse is in a rough herd or a pasture with a lot of vegetation, the Rambo will last longer.

Can I use both liners at the same time?

Yes. Together with the outer rug, you will have 350g, which is sufficient for cold winter nights and clipped horses.

What size do I need?

Measure from the middle of the chest, along the flank, to the tailbone. If you are in doubt between two sizes, choose the larger one.
