The right size is essential for comfort, safety and performance in equestrian sport. At Maddelin Equestrian we're happy to help you choose the right size, so your equipment fits well: riding wear, helmets, boots or equipment for your horse.
Clothing that is too tight or too loose can restrict your freedom of movement and affect your aids. Always measure carefully and use our size charts as a guide.
Fit varies from brand to brand, so you'll find specific information on each product page. Not sure? Send us a message or come and try in our shop in Torhout.

Between two sizes? We usually recommend the larger size, unless stated otherwise on the product. In our experience, Italian brands (such as Animo, Cavalleria Toscana and Vestrum) tend to come up small.
Rugs
How to measure your horse: using a soft tape measure, measure from the centre of the chest, over the point of the shoulder, horizontally along the body to the furthest point of the hindquarters. This is the total length.
Always check the brand's size chart. A rug size in cm (for example 125 or 145) is the back length for most brands, and how it converts to feet differs per brand. Some brands, such as Bucas, also measure differently. That's why every rug comes with the brand's own size information.
The table below converts the total length from feet to cm. This conversion is the same for every brand.
| Feet | Inches | Total length (cm) |

Product Information
Horse Serenity 1L is a powerful fly repellent for horses that has been specially developed to protect your horse long-term against flies, horseflies, mosquitoes, midges, and ticks. During warm days, training sessions, or grazing, insects can cause a lot of stress and unrest. Thanks to its effective formula based on plant-based pyrethrum and geraniol, Horse Serenity creates a protective barrier, keeping your horse more comfortable, calmer, and more relaxed.
The ready-to-use spray works immediately after application and offers long-lasting protection for up to 3 weeks without washing. This makes this fly repellent suitable for horses that react sensitively to insect bites or are easily distracted during riding. The formula adheres well to the coat and remains active, even during daily outdoor activities.
Horse Serenity is easy to apply thanks to the convenient spray bottle and is suitable for stable use as well as competitions, training sessions, and grazing periods. Due to its immediate effect and long-lasting protection, you need to spray less often, which provides extra comfort for both horse and rider.
This anti-fly spray is suitable for horses and ponies and helps to significantly reduce irritation and unrest caused by biting insects during the summer season.
