This bridle comes in Full. Measure the cheekpiece and the nose circumference of your current bridle beforehand, so you know the straps will fasten in the middle of their adjustment range.

A crank noseband should not be done up any tighter than an ordinary one. The crank principle is there to spread tension, not to add more of it. Fasten it so that two fingers still slide easily between the strap and the nose, and check that the cut-out really does sit above the corners of the mouth.

Patent leather needs a different routine from ordinary leather: wipe it with a soft, slightly damp cloth and buff it dry, without greasy balm. The Italian leather of the straps, on the other hand, should be treated regularly with saddle soap or leather balm. Pair the bridle with matching leather reins from our range for a consistent finish.
