We offer this bridle in size Pony. If in doubt, measure the bridle you use now and compare the length of the headpiece and the noseband; on ponies the build of the head varies widely.

Hang the bit at the right height in the corner of the mouth first, and only then adjust the noseband and throatlash. There should be two fingers of room under the noseband and a flat hand under the throatlash. On a bridle with hidden fastenings it pays to set the left and right cheekpieces at exactly the same height, otherwise the bit pulls crooked in the mouth.

Care is straightforward: wipe off sand and sweat after riding, clean regularly with saddle soap and then grease with leather balm or leather grease. Let wet leather dry quietly at room temperature. While cleaning, also check the stitching around the hidden fastenings, as those are the points that do the most work.

The New Pro is a good choice if you want one reliable bridle for everything: daily training, lessons and competition. The clean, plain line suits riders who would rather have no decoration on the head, and the anatomical build benefits horses that are sensitive behind the ears.

If you do want a decorative browband with crystals or decorative stones, our range includes models made for that. And if you need reins, you choose them separately; they are not part of this bridle.

Wipe it down after riding, clean it regularly with saddle soap and treat it afterwards with leather balm. Let wet leather dry slowly.
