Effol Hoof-Tar 125ml – Deep-acting protection against moisture & thrush
Strong protection, fast application – the classic against thrush.
Effol Hoof-Tar is a powerful, deep-acting tar spray that protects the frog of the hoof from moisture, dirt, and bacteria. Thanks to the beechwood tar in an alcohol solution, the product penetrates deep into the hoof structure and forms a long-lasting protective layer there. Ideal as preventive care against thrush, especially after trimming or in wet pasture and stable conditions.
Thrush often arises from moist conditions, mud, urine, and insufficient drying of the frog grooves. Effol Hoof-Tar tackles this cleverly: the tar adheres firmly to the hoof, seals the frog against penetrating moisture, and helps prevent bacterial growth.
Thanks to the handy spray bottle, you can apply the product quickly, hygienically, and accurately — without mess. The cap also seals odor-tight, which is a great advantage in your tack locker or trailer.
