PRODUCT INFORMATION
Vetramil Honey Ointment has been specially developed for the care of equine skin and is widely used for horses with sensitive, dry or damaged skin areas. The ointment is based on medical honey and supports the skin's natural regenerative capacity in a gentle and horse-friendly way.
In horses, Vetramil is often used for the care of superficial wounds, abrasions, skin prone to mud fever, pasterns, chafing from blankets or tack, and sensitive corners of the mouth. Thanks to its protective action, the ointment helps keep the skin supple and hydrated, while the honey supports the skin in its recovery process.
Its thick but easily spreadable texture stays well on the skin, even on moving areas such as legs or the corners of the mouth. This allows the ointment to provide long-lasting care and protection against dehydration and external influences.
Vetramil is particularly popular with horse owners because the ointment is gentle on the skin and suitable for daily use. The addition of essential oils also helps to provide pleasant skin care and supports a clean skin environment.
