Size guide

A correct size is essential for both comfort and performance in equestrian sports. At Maddelin Equestrian, we are happy to help you choose the right size so that your equipment fits perfectly—whether it's riding apparel, helmets, boots, or accessories.
A well-fitting outfit not only ensures greater comfort but also better performance in the saddle. Clothing that is too tight or too loose can restrict your freedom of movement and affect your aids. Therefore, we recommend always measuring accurately and using our size charts as a guide.
Our size charts are organized by product category and brand, allowing you to choose as precisely as possible. Because fits can vary by brand, you will find specific information with each product to guide you.
How to measure correctly?
For the best results, always measure with a flexible tape measure, close to the body but without tightening.
-
Chest circumference: measure around the widest part of the chest
-
Waist: measure around the narrowest part of your waist
-
Hips: measure around the widest part of the hips
-
Inseam length: measure from groin to ankle
-
Head circumference (helmets): measure just above the eyebrows and ears
-
Calf circumference & height (boots/chaps): measure the widest part of the calf and the height from heel to hollow of the knee
If you are in doubt between two sizes? We usually advise choosing the larger size for extra comfort, unless otherwise stated with the product.
At Maddelin, we believe that the right fit makes all the difference between just riding and truly riding well. Use our size charts as a guide and confidently choose the size that suits you and your horse.
The 02001 nylon riding whip with FLECK grip is a reliable choice for riders who prioritize functionality and durability in their daily training. Thanks to its strong woven nylon cover, this whip can withstand intensive use and remains in good condition for a long time, both in the arena and during outdoor rides.
The distinctive FLECK grip is known for its ergonomic shape and comfortable hold. This ensures the whip remains stable in your hand, allowing you to ride precisely and relaxed, even during longer training sessions. This provides consistent, refined communication with your horse without losing your grip.
The open flap at the end makes this riding whip particularly suitable for riders who want to give a direct, clear impulse when necessary. The design is simple but effective, making this whip perfect for riders who prefer practical and efficient equipment without unnecessary details.
An ideal all-round riding whip for daily use, combining grip, control, and durability.
