Fasten the noseband so that you can still slide two fingers underneath easily. The flash strap is set looser than the noseband itself: it is there to keep the bit quiet, not to close the mouth. If you want a classic bridling, you simply take it off and keep it with your grooming kit.

New vegetable-tanned leather needs some attention in the first weeks. Wipe it down after riding with a slightly damp cloth, clean it regularly with saddle soap and then grease it thinly. Always let wet leather dry slowly at room temperature, never next to a stove or radiator.

This is a bridle for daily training: for yard owners, instructors and riders who handle several horses in a day and want to be able to switch quickly. That is where the snap hooks pay off fastest.

If you are mainly looking for a refined appearance with braided or worked details, other models in our range suit you better. If you like classic buckles on the cheekpieces because you find them quieter to look at, choose a version without snap hooks. And if you ride a horse that does not tolerate a flash strap, a bridle with a plain noseband is the more logical choice.

With the snap hooks on the cheekpieces, you unhook and reattach the bit without opening any buckles. Fasten the noseband so that two fingers still slide underneath easily, and set the flash strap looser than the noseband. For a classic bridling, simply take the removable flash strap off.
