Fager Felix Sweet Iron

Fager Felix Sweet Iron | Single-jointed bit with FSS™ technology

Smart adaptability for sensitive, complex horses

About this bit

The Fager Felix is not a standard single-jointed bit – it is a technical masterpiece with two different fitting options that can be fully customized to your horse's behavior. Thanks to the unique Fager Smart System (FSS™), this bit adapts to the horse's needs: you choose whether to use it with or without a front lock – depending on your horse's sensitivities.

When to choose the front lock

Suitable for horses that are:

Inconsistent in contact

Hesitant to take the bit

Dropping the bit or staying behind the hand

The front lock stabilizes the bit and provides confidence

When NOT to choose the front lock

Suitable for horses that feel:

Stiff or tense

Grabbing the bit or chewing on the bit

Trying to get their tongue over the bit

Without the front lock, the bit retains more freedom of movement

• Sweet Iron material

• Anatomically shaped mouthpiece
