Size guide

A correct size is essential for both comfort and performance in equestrian sports. At Maddelin Equestrian, we are happy to help you choose the right size so that your equipment fits perfectly—whether it's riding apparel, helmets, boots, or accessories.
A well-fitting outfit not only ensures greater comfort but also better performance in the saddle. Clothing that is too tight or too loose can restrict your freedom of movement and affect your aids. Therefore, we recommend always measuring accurately and using our size charts as a guide.
Our size charts are organized by product category and brand, allowing you to choose as precisely as possible. Because fits can vary by brand, you will find specific information with each product to guide you.
How to measure correctly?
For the best results, always measure with a flexible tape measure, close to the body but without tightening.
-
Chest circumference: measure around the widest part of the chest
-
Waist: measure around the narrowest part of your waist
-
Hips: measure around the widest part of the hips
-
Inseam length: measure from groin to ankle
-
Head circumference (helmets): measure just above the eyebrows and ears
-
Calf circumference & height (boots/chaps): measure the widest part of the calf and the height from heel to hollow of the knee
If you are in doubt between two sizes? We usually advise choosing the larger size for extra comfort, unless otherwise stated with the product.
At Maddelin, we believe that the right fit makes all the difference between just riding and truly riding well. Use our size charts as a guide and confidently choose the size that suits you and your horse.
The Michel Vaillant Fastuds® SG 13 mm are innovative, self-cleaning hoof studs specially developed for riders who ride in varying and soft ground conditions and want to save time when screwing in studs.
Thanks to the patented Fastuds® system with integrated tapping function, these studs automatically clean and repair the thread during insertion. Pre-cleaning of the stud hole is not necessary. This makes them particularly efficient in competitions, training, and outdoor disciplines where speed and reliability are essential.
With a 13 mm protrusion, these studs offer excellent grip on soft, wet, or slightly muddy ground, without unnecessarily stressing the joints. The tungsten tip guarantees extremely high wear resistance, even with intensive use.
• Super-fast assembly without pre-cleaning
• Reliable grip on soft and wet ground
• Longer lifespan thanks to tungsten tip
• Less chance of stuck or damaged stud holes
• Ideal for competition and sport use
• Saves time and frustration at shows
