Order a pad at the same time, because the Equi-Soft is not used without one. Girths from 50 to 150 cm take the large pad; all Equi-Soft girths at Maddelin fall within that range. Choose the material you prefer: lambskin, vachette leather or neoprene.

Buckle the girth as high as possible along the ribcage and make sure the centre of the girth lies on your horse's midline. The elastic rings should be under light tension, with room left to expand. If you girth too tight, the rings cancel out their own effect.
