The Apple Mouth Eggbutt Snaffle is specially designed to help horses better accept the bit . The plastic mouthpiece releases a subtle apple flavor when it comes into contact with saliva, which stimulates saliva production and creates a more pleasant mouthfeel. This is ideal for sensitive horses or horses that have difficulty accepting bits .
