Product Information

The Fager Emil Titanium is specially developed for horses with sensitive mouths that are prone to sores, pressure points, or irritations. This double-jointed bit provides exceptionally soft and comfortable action, helping your horse relax faster and accept contact better.

The completely smooth titanium mouthpiece – including the joints – ensures that no sharp edges or pressure points occur. This allows the bit to lie extremely still and free in the mouth. The specially designed hinges prevent contact with the palate and adapt effortlessly to the natural shape of the tongue, while keeping pressure on the bars minimal.

Thanks to its light, straight design with a perfect balance point (BP), the bit remains stable and ensures direct, honest communication between rider and horse. This makes the Emil particularly suitable for horses that feel stiff or need extra flexibility in the contact.

The high-quality titanium, produced using Fager's Anoblast™ technology, is not only extremely durable but also antibacterial and lightweight. This significantly increases comfort and acceptance, even for the most sensitive horses.

An ideal choice for riders who strive for softness, precision, and confidence in the connection.

Why choose the Fager Emil:

100% smooth titanium: prevents sores and irritation
Double-jointed design: soft and even pressure distribution
No palate interference: maximum comfort
Lightweight: less burden in the mouth
Perfect balance point: stable and clear communication
Anoblast™ technology: extremely durable and high-quality

If in doubt about the correct bit choice, consult a bit fitter or instructor.

Regularly check the corners of your horse's mouth and its behaviour to see if the bit fits.

Rinse the bit after each ride and check it for wear or sharp edges.

For whom?

For riders looking for a bit that suits their horse's mouth and needs.

When do you use this?

During training and, if permitted by regulations, in competition.

For which horses?

The right bit choice depends on your horse's mouth conformation and preference; if in doubt, ask for advice.

When is an alternative better?

If your horse does not respond well to this mouthpiece, consult a bit fitter about alternatives.

Attach the bit to the bridle and adjust the height so that it rests gently in the corners of the mouth, without creating wrinkles or hanging too low. Rinse the bit after each ride.
