Choose Cob for finer and smaller heads and Full for the average warmblood head. With anatomically shaped parts in particular it pays to measure rather than go by the size name: a shaped headpiece or noseband only sits well when the shape falls in the right place.

When fitting, check that the browband does not press against the base of the ears and that the noseband sits high enough, with the shape of the strap lying neatly over the nasal bone. Set the headpiece and cheekpieces first, and adjust the noseband only afterwards.

Padded leather needs a little attention when cleaning. Wipe away sweat and sand after riding, including between the padded parts, because that is where sand lingers longest. Clean the leather weekly with saddle soap and then feed it with a thin layer of leather balm. Let wet leather dry at room temperature and hang the bridle on a wide hook so the shaped headpiece keeps its form.

The Elegant is a good choice when you want anatomical shaping at every contact point, a neat appearance and reins included right away. The model comes into its own in the dressage arena, but it is just as usable for everyday work.

If you mainly ride cross-country and jumping and specifically want a grackle noseband, a model with that type of noseband from our range makes more sense. If you are after a sportier look with a straight browband, another model will suit you better.
