Size guide

A correct size is essential for both comfort and performance in equestrian sports. At Maddelin Equestrian, we are happy to help you choose the right size so that your equipment fits perfectly—whether it's riding apparel, helmets, boots, or accessories.
A well-fitting outfit not only ensures greater comfort but also better performance in the saddle. Clothing that is too tight or too loose can restrict your freedom of movement and affect your aids. Therefore, we recommend always measuring accurately and using our size charts as a guide.
Our size charts are organized by product category and brand, allowing you to choose as precisely as possible. Because fits can vary by brand, you will find specific information with each product to guide you.
How to measure correctly?
For the best results, always measure with a flexible tape measure, close to the body but without tightening.
-
Chest circumference: measure around the widest part of the chest
-
Waist: measure around the narrowest part of your waist
-
Hips: measure around the widest part of the hips
-
Inseam length: measure from groin to ankle
-
Head circumference (helmets): measure just above the eyebrows and ears
-
Calf circumference & height (boots/chaps): measure the widest part of the calf and the height from heel to hollow of the knee
If you are in doubt between two sizes? We usually advise choosing the larger size for extra comfort, unless otherwise stated with the product.
At Maddelin, we believe that the right fit makes all the difference between just riding and truly riding well. Use our size charts as a guide and confidently choose the size that suits you and your horse.
Dy'on Premium Soft Leather Stirrup Leathers
Belgian class in the saddle
The Dy'on Premium Soft Leather Stirrup Leathers are designed for riders who expect immediate comfort, optimal leg position, and absolute reliability – without a break-in period. Crafted from ultra-soft premium calf leather and finished to the high Dy'on standard, these stirrup leathers offer refined and stable contact between rider and horse.
Thanks to the internal nylon reinforcement, the leathers maintain their shape and length, even with intensive use. The flat, narrow buckle reduces pressure and bulk under the thigh, resulting in a quieter leg and more precision in your aids.
• Immediately supple and comfortable
• Quieter leg position due to less bulk
• Precisely equal stirrup length thanks to fine adjustment holes
• Durable, dimensionally stable, and reliable in the long term
• Luxurious appearance suitable for high-end saddles
