The Kentucky Horsewear Curb Chain Guard in black offers extra comfort and protection when riding with a curb or pelham bit. A curb chain can be necessary for refined action, but without protection, it can cause pressure and friction on the lower jaw. This protector prevents that discomfort without disturbing the bit's action.
The soft, skin-friendly material molds nicely around the curb chain and distributes pressure evenly. This keeps your horse comfortable, even during intensive training sessions or competitions. Especially with sensitive horses or horses with fine skin, you will notice the difference in relaxation and acceptance of the bit.
The protector is easy to apply and stays securely in place. Thanks to its timeless black design, it perfectly matches any bridle and discipline, from dressage to show jumping.
