Sprenger Dynamic RS Full Cheek Snaffle – Anatomical Stability for Sensitive Horses

More control. More relaxation. Clear, soft communication.

The Sprenger Dynamic RS Full Cheek Snaffle was developed for riders seeking extra stability without harshness in the mouth. Thanks to its ergonomically shaped mouthpiece and fixed full cheeks, this bit offers targeted support for horses that tend to fall out, struggle with balance, or need extra guidance in their training.

The double-jointed mouthpiece is anatomically correctly shaped, and the joint is angled forward at 45°. This allows the bit to follow the natural shape of the horse's mouth and distribute pressure evenly over the tongue and bars. This promotes relaxation, acceptance, and a more stable contact.

The full cheeks provide additional lateral support. Especially with young horses, in jumping, or during lateral exercises, this helps to better control the shoulders and keep the horse straight.

Why choose the Dynamic RS Full Cheek Snaffle?

• Does your horse easily fall over one shoulder?

The fixed full cheeks provide targeted lateral limitation and support.

• Do you ride a sensitive horse?

The ergonomic mouthpiece with a 45° joint distributes pressure gently and evenly.

• Does your horse have a fleshy tongue or limited space in the mouth?

The anatomical shape offers more comfort and better acceptance.

• Are you working with a young horse in training?

The stability helps in teaching bending and straightness.

• Are you looking for precision without harshness?

The fixed sides ensure clear but gentle rein aids.

Maddelin tip: Always check that the full cheeks are correctly positioned and, if necessary, use full cheek loops for extra stability with young horses.

If in doubt about the correct bit choice, consult a bit fitter or instructor.

Regularly check the corners of your horse's mouth and its behaviour to see if the bit fits.

Rinse the bit after each ride and check it for wear or sharp edges.

For whom?

For riders looking for a bit that suits their horse's mouth and needs.

When do you use this?

During training and, if permitted by regulations, in competition.

For which horses?

The right bit choice depends on your horse's mouth conformation and preference; if in doubt, ask for advice.

When is an alternative better?

If your horse does not respond well to this mouthpiece, consult a bit fitter about alternatives.

Attach the bit to the bridle and adjust the height so that it rests gently in the corners of the mouth, without creating wrinkles or hanging too low. Rinse the bit after each ride.

Which size should I choose?

Measure your horse's mouth width and consult the size chart.

Is this bit competition legal?

Check the rules of your discipline and federation for certainty.

How do I maintain the bit?

Rinse with water after each ride and regularly check for wear and tear.

How do I know if this bit fits?

Look for relaxed chewing and a quiet contact; if in doubt, ask a bit fitter for advice.
