How to measure correctly?
For the best results, always measure with a flexible tape measure, close to the body but without tightening.

Chest circumference: measure around the widest part of the chest

Waist: measure around the narrowest part of your waist

Hips: measure around the widest part of the hips

Inseam length: measure from groin to ankle

Head circumference (helmets): measure just above the eyebrows and ears

Calf circumference & height (boots/chaps): measure the widest part of the calf and the height from heel to hollow of the knee
If you are in doubt between two sizes? We usually advise choosing the larger size for extra comfort, unless otherwise stated with the product.

The Sprenger Dynamic RS Pony/Icelandic Bit is designed for ponies, Icelandic horses, and other horses with a smaller mouth structure , without compromising function or comfort. With a single-jointed, anatomically shaped 12 mm mouthpiece, this bit offers a soft, precise action that helps create a reliable connection between the rider's hand and horse's mouth.
What makes this bit so special:
• Single joint Dynamic RS design – ergonomically shaped for optimal pressure distribution
• 12 mm thickness – ideal for ponies or horses with little room in the mouth
• Slightly curved shape – prevents pressure on the palate, promotes contact
• Made from Sensogan or Aurigan (depending on model) – for better acceptance and saliva production

The special angle of the jointed joint makes this bit sit more quietly in the mouth than a traditional single jointed bit and prevents the well-known “nutcracker effect” on the palate.
