The Dy'on D Collection headpiece with throatlash is an anatomically shaped, S-shaped headpiece that allows you to assemble a bridle from the D Collection or replace an existing headpiece. Its design was specifically developed to create more space around the horse's ears and to reduce pressure at the sensitive ear base.

The most important difference from a traditional, straight headpiece lies in its distinctive S-shape. This follows the contour around the base of the ear, giving the ears more freedom of movement. The position of the browband has also been adjusted: it is placed lower on the headpiece so that it does not rest directly against the base of the ear. This makes this model interesting if you want to pay extra attention to an anatomical fit around the ears when choosing a bridle.

The headpiece comes including a throatlash and is designed as part of Dy'on's modular system. You can combine it with other matching components to assemble a bridle that suits your horse and your desired type of noseband. The leather does require regular maintenance. Dy'on recommends nourishing the leather with paraffin oil and cleaning it with glycerine soap. This way, you maintain the material according to the manufacturer's instructions.
