The Cavalor Crunchies are crunchy horse treats with carrot pieces and fibre, intended as a reward for horses and ponies. They are a molasses-free treat, easily digestible and practical to feed by hand after training, at a show or simply in the stable. The pack contains 1.5 kg. You choose them when you want a crunchy reward with carrot and fibre rather than a classic molassed treat.

About these treats

The treats are extruded. That production process makes the cereals used more digestible and readily absorbed. The formula contains 12% dried carrots, supplemented with fibre and cereal sources such as wheat bran, oat hulls, grasses and alfalfa.

What sets Crunchies apart is that they are made without molasses. That makes them a straightforward choice when you would rather not feed a molassed treat. They remain treats, though: they do not replace forage, concentrates or a balancer.

Cavalor caps the amount at 50 Crunchies per horse per day. Match that amount to the full ration and to your horse’s body weight. Enough quality forage and permanent access to fresh drinking water remain the basis.
