How does it work

Newborn foals have no antibodies of their own at birth. They are completely dependent on colostrum to build immunity. However, the absorption of these vital nutrients is time-dependent :

Absorption is most effective within the first 6 hours after birth. After 24 hours, the window closes.

Use & dosage

If no colostrum was received:

• Administer 1 dose within 6 hours of birth

• Repeat after 12–16 hours

Preparation:

• Mix 1 sachet (100 g) with 0.2 l Cavalor Hyppolac or warm water (not too hot!).

• Stir well until completely dissolved

• Administer via bottle with teat

Caution: Do not heat in the microwave – this destroys the active immunoglobulins!
