Choose this shirt if, as a man, you want a white competition shirt with a classic button collar and short sleeves, for summer shows and warm indoor days. It suits dressage, showjumping and the dressage test of an eventing competition, and it is smart enough to wear under a jacket. Does this shirt have a place for a tie?

Yes, the button fastening has a tie loop. That keeps your tie or stock sitting straight.

Can I compete in showjumping in this?

FEI Jumping Rules article 207.2.3 asks for a white collar and a white tie, stock or choker, and permits short sleeves. This shirt is white with a white collar. Check your own federation's rules for your level.

And in dressage?

The FEI dressage rules set a requirement only for the stock or tie, which must be white or off white. The Belgian rules also require a white shirt.

May I ride without a jacket when it is hot?

The ground jury can allow this in very warm weather. In showjumping the shirt must then have sleeves, short or long; sleeveless is not allowed. The rules name no threshold value.

Is the brand logo on this shirt allowed in the arena?

FEI General Regulations article 135 limits a manufacturer's logo to 3 cm² per garment and to 16 cm² on the collar. Kingsland does not publish the dimensions of its embroidery, so measure it if you are competing in a class where this is checked.
