Cavalor Equi Wash

Wet the coat thoroughly first and take out loose dirt and hair by hand or with a curry comb. That way you use less shampoo. Then work from top to bottom and keep the shampoo away from the eyes.

Rinse thoroughly: shampoo residue makes hair stick together and traps dust again. In cold weather use lukewarm water and dry the horse well or put a sweat rug on. Cavalor gives no dilution ratio; a small amount in a bucket of lukewarm water already goes a long way.

The 500 ml bottle suits anyone washing one or two horses who wants the shampoo to hand in the grooming cupboard. It works in every discipline and on every coat colour.

Yes. Rinse the coat out well. Cavalor describes the shampoo as easy to rinse out.

Why a shampoo for horses rather than for people?
Because the acidity differs. Cavalor puts human skin between 4.0 and 5.5 and horse skin between 7.0 and 7.4. Equi Wash is matched to the latter.

What do provitamin B5 and glycerine do?
According to Cavalor, provitamin B5 penetrates to the hair root and helps the coat's moisture balance; glycerine acts as a conditioner and gives strength, volume and a natural shine.

What size is this bottle?
500 ml. Cavalor also offers Equi Wash as a 2 L refill and a 2 L tub with pump; that 2 L equals 4 bottles of 500 ml.

How long does the bottle keep once opened?
Cavalor prints the 24M symbol: 24 months after opening. Keep the bottle out of reach of children.

May I use it at a competition?
Cavalor makes no statement about competition use or a withdrawal time. Check your own federation rules.
