Cavalor Endurix

The Cavalor Endurix is a Level 4 sport muesli for horses that have to perform at a high level over long periods. The muesli combines puffed and extruded cereals with an adjusted fat content, vitamins, minerals and pre-, pro- and postbiotic components. Its energy comes from readily digestible starch together with fat, so that it becomes available gradually during longer efforts. Think eventing, endurance and the racetrack, and any sport horse with high energy demands.

About this muesli

The cereal base includes puffed wheat, barley and maize, supplemented with extrudates. Puffing and extrusion open up the starch, which makes it easier to digest. The cereals are blended with fibre, which spreads out the meal.

The formula contains pre-, pro- and postbiotic components, among them Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNCM I-4407 as a probiotic, plus various yeast products. These are built into the muesli itself, so there is no separate product to feed alongside it.

On top of that come extra vitamins and trace elements geared to sport horses. Alongside inorganic minerals, the formula contains chelated forms of copper, zinc, manganese and selenium, as well as vitamin E and electrolytes.

Always match the amount of concentrate to your horse’s work, body weight and forage ration. During extreme exertion or in hot weather you can add an electrolyte supplement. For a horse in light work or with limited energy demands, a less energy-dense feed is the more logical choice.
