Between two sizes? We usually recommend the larger size, unless stated otherwise on the product. In our experience, Italian brands (such as Animo, Cavalleria Toscana and Vestrum) tend to come up small.
Rugs
How to measure your horse: using a soft tape measure, measure from the centre of the chest, over the point of the shoulder, horizontally along the body to the furthest point of the hindquarters. This is the total length.
Always check the brand's size chart. A rug size in cm (for example 125 or 145) is the back length for most brands, and how it converts to feet differs per brand. Some brands, such as Bucas, also measure differently. That's why every rug comes with the brand's own size information.
The table below converts the total length from feet to cm. This conversion is the same for every brand.

Product Information
The CT Technical Zip-Up Hoodie for women is a technical hoodie by Cavalleria Toscana that combines a groomed, minimalist look with protection against wind and water. The hoodie comes in the light colour Rainy Day and is made from a cotton blend of 83% cotton, 14% polyester and 3% elastane.
About this hoodie
An important distinguishing feature is the fully thermally sealed seams. This finish was developed to close the seams off better against water and wind. The coated zips belong to the same technical construction. They are tonal, so the functional details barely detract from the clean CT look.
For extra strength the hoodie has triple stitching at the shoulders, hem and cuffs. This construction gives the garment more structure and reinforces the areas that take regular strain while wearing. The zips are finished with a rubber CT zip puller. Tonal embroidered logos keep the design deliberately understated.
Thanks to the cotton in the blend, this hoodie feels different from a fully synthetic technical jacket. The polyester contributes to the technical fabric mix, while 3% elastane gives the fabric stretch. That makes it an interesting choice for riders who want a comfortable hoodie but need more protection in changeable weather than a classic cotton sweater offers.
The CT Technical Zip-Up Hoodie works as a groomed outer layer at the yard, on the way to training or a show and at other moments around the sport. The hood adds cover when the weather turns.
Do bear in mind that the official product information states protection against water and wind, but gives no specific waterproof rating or water column. If you want clothing for long exposure to heavy rain, a rain jacket designed for that is the more logical choice.
