Size guide

A correct size is essential for both comfort and performance in equestrian sports. At Maddelin Equestrian, we are happy to help you choose the right size so that your equipment fits perfectly—whether it's riding apparel, helmets, boots, or accessories.
A well-fitting outfit not only ensures greater comfort but also better performance in the saddle. Clothing that is too tight or too loose can restrict your freedom of movement and affect your aids. Therefore, we recommend always measuring accurately and using our size charts as a guide.
Our size charts are organized by product category and brand, allowing you to choose as precisely as possible. Because fits can vary by brand, you will find specific information with each product to guide you.
How to measure correctly?
For the best results, always measure with a flexible tape measure, close to the body but without tightening.
-
Chest circumference: measure around the widest part of the chest
-
Waist: measure around the narrowest part of your waist
-
Hips: measure around the widest part of the hips
-
Inseam length: measure from groin to ankle
-
Head circumference (helmets): measure just above the eyebrows and ears
-
Calf circumference & height (boots/chaps): measure the widest part of the calf and the height from heel to hollow of the knee
If you are in doubt between two sizes? We usually advise choosing the larger size for extra comfort, unless otherwise stated with the product.
At Maddelin, we believe that the right fit makes all the difference between just riding and truly riding well. Use our size charts as a guide and confidently choose the size that suits you and your horse.
The Cavalleria Toscana Quilted Jumping Saddle Pad in Jersey is designed for riders who refuse to compromise on comfort, stability, and appearance in the jumping arena. This saddle pad is developed for show jumping and combines technical materials with the refined, understated look Cavalleria Toscana is known for. The breathable jersey outer fabric feels light and supple, while the internal padding with a honeycomb structure helps to distribute pressure evenly under the saddle. This provides your horse with extra comfort and supports stable positioning during training and competition.
What truly makes this jumping saddle pad stand out is the balance between performance and finish. The material is breathable, quick-drying, and easy to maintain, making it practical even on intense riding days. The quilted finish, piping along the edges, and embroidered CT logo create a luxurious, sporty look without excess. This is an ideal choice for riders looking for a technical jumping saddle pad that sits beautifully under the saddle while providing a polished competition appearance.
Maddelin tip: combine this Cavalleria Toscana saddle pad with an ear net from the same collection for a neat, professional look at shows and at home during training.
