Product Information
The Cavalleria Toscana Light Weight Jersey Stripe Earnet is a technical earnet for horses, made from lightweight and breathable jersey. It is designed for use while riding and helps reduce the nuisance of insects around the ears, thereby allowing the horse to be less distracted by insects during training and competitions.
The ear net is made from a combination of polyamide, elastane, and polyester. The technical jersey is light and breathable, properties that contribute to comfort during wear. The elastane in the material composition also provides stretch in the technical fabric.
The primary practical function of the ear net is to shield the ears from bothersome insects. Especially when riding, flies and other insects around the head can cause distraction. The ear net forms a physical barrier around the ears, thus helping to limit this disturbance. The product is not described as sound-dampening and should therefore not be confused with a sound-dampening ear net.
