Supple leather deserves regular care. Wipe the bridle with a damp cloth after every ride and treat it every few weeks with glycerine soap and leather balm. Let it dry at room temperature and store it on a wide bridle rack so the headpiece keeps its shape.

The Cape Town Select suits riders who put fit first and want a bridle that looks well turned out in training and at shows alike. It works in dressage, jumping and eventing, and the modular system is a plus if you want to be able to swap parts later on.

If you want a complete set straight away, choose a bridle from our range that comes with reins. If you specifically want a combined noseband with flash strap or a drop noseband, look for a model where that is clearly specified. And if you want a bridle with a statement browband, this slim, understated model is not built for that.
