Cob generally suits a finer or shorter head, Full a average warmblood head. If in doubt, compare the lengths of the headpiece, noseband and cheekpieces of your current bridle rather than going by the size name.

When adjusting the browband, watch the length: a browband with crystals is stiffer than a plain strap, so if it is too short it will press against the base of the ears sooner. Leave two fingers of room under the noseband and keep the flash strap looser than the noseband.

For care, keep soap and balm off the stones; work around the crystals with a slightly damp cloth and apply balm only to the leather. Clean the rest of the bridle with mild saddle soap and feed it afterwards. Store the bridle dry with the browband flat, so the crystals do not rub against other tack.

You choose the Siena when you want an anatomical bridle with an elegant browband, for the dressage test for instance, or for a well-turned-out look at home. It is suitable for dressage, jumping and eventing.

If you are after a completely plain bridle without decoration, a standard anatomical model from our range is the more logical choice. If you want to be able to swap browbands and nosebands yourself, look at the Select & Mix line. And if you ride in a discipline where you would rather not wear sparkle, take that into account and check the rulebook of your discipline and federation.
