Size. This bridle comes in Cob. Cob generally fits the average warmblood horse with a head that is not too long. To be sure, measure your current bridle: the length of the noseband and the distance from one corner of the mouth to the other over the poll give you the quickest answer.

Adjustment. Place the noseband about two fingers below the cheekbone. On a Swedish noseband you tighten until the strap sits stable while you can still slide two fingers underneath easily. The crank system is meant to spread the tension, not to close it tighter.

Care. After every ride, wipe off sweat and sand with a damp cloth. Clean the leather regularly with saddle soap and then apply a thin layer of leather balm or grease. Always let wet leather dry at room temperature, never near a heater or in full sun. Polish the stones on the browband dry, without soap or grease.

Choose La Rochelle if you ride or train dressage and want a bridle that looks polished at competitions, with a headpiece that offers comfort. It is also a good choice if your horse is sensitive behind the ears.
