Comb the mane through properly first and divide it into even sections. Then apply Plait It Up to the section you are working on rather than to the whole mane at once: that way you keep grip where you need it. Work from top to bottom, as you plait anyway, and start with a clean, dry mane comb.

Combine it with the classic aids: bands or plaiting thread and a plaiting needle for dressage bobbles. To set the plaits even more firmly, our range includes the Quick Knot Wax Stick. NAF gives no cautions and no storage advice for this product; avoid the eyes and keep the bottle well closed and frost-free.

You choose Plait It Up when you plait and want it to stay put: competition plaits for dressage or jumping, a tail plait or simply a tidy yard. Especially with fine manes or manes that have just been washed, where you otherwise have nothing to hold on to, grip is the difference between working through smoothly and starting over each time.

If you want mane and tail smooth and tangle-free instead, you need the opposite product: the NAF Silky Mane & Tail Ontklittende spray.
