Size guide

A correct size is essential for both comfort and performance in equestrian sports. At Maddelin Equestrian, we are happy to help you choose the right size so that your equipment fits perfectly—whether it's riding apparel, helmets, boots, or accessories.
A well-fitting outfit not only ensures greater comfort but also better performance in the saddle. Clothing that is too tight or too loose can restrict your freedom of movement and affect your aids. Therefore, we recommend always measuring accurately and using our size charts as a guide.
Our size charts are organized by product category and brand, allowing you to choose as precisely as possible. Because fits can vary by brand, you will find specific information with each product to guide you.
How to measure correctly?
For the best results, always measure with a flexible tape measure, close to the body but without tightening.
-
Chest circumference: measure around the widest part of the chest
-
Waist: measure around the narrowest part of your waist
-
Hips: measure around the widest part of the hips
-
Inseam length: measure from groin to ankle
-
Head circumference (helmets): measure just above the eyebrows and ears
-
Calf circumference & height (boots/chaps): measure the widest part of the calf and the height from heel to hollow of the knee
If you are in doubt between two sizes? We usually advise choosing the larger size for extra comfort, unless otherwise stated with the product.
At Maddelin, we believe that the right fit makes all the difference between just riding and truly riding well. Use our size charts as a guide and confidently choose the size that suits you and your horse.
The BOSS Equestrian crocheted fly veil combines sophisticated style with functional protection for your horse. During warm days or intense training sessions, this veil protects your horse from flies and insects, without sacrificing comfort or appearance. The breathable, crocheted design ensures optimal ventilation around the ears, keeping your horse focused and relaxed—both during riding and in the stable or during competitions.
What truly sets this fly veil apart is the distinctive BOSS finish with subtle stripes along the edges. It provides a luxurious, sporty look that perfectly complements stylish equestrian gear. Ideal for riders who not only seek functionality but also have an eye for detail and presentation.
Thanks to the soft, elastic ears, the veil fits snugly without pinching or rubbing. It stays securely in place under the bridle and prevents distractions from insects around sensitive areas. Whether you are training, competing, or caring for your horse, this fly veil offers a perfect balance of comfort, protection, and a premium look.
