Product Information
The Boss Equestrian Santiago Halter & Panama Rope Set consists of a halter and a matching rope, supplied together as one set. It is stable equipment for daily use: putting your horse on, grooming, leading by hand, and moving from the stall to the pasture or trailer.
The product photos show that the halter is finished with a soft, padded teddy lining on the noseband, headpiece, and cheek pieces. This lining is precisely located where a halter presses on your horse's head. For horses that quickly rub behind the ears or on the bridge of the nose, this makes the difference between a halter that stays put and one your horse constantly rubs against.
The halter comes with a Panama rope in the same color scheme, with a metal snap hook and a teddy finish that matches the halter. The fact that the halter and rope are coordinated may sound like a detail, but it saves you the eternal search for a rope that somewhat matches.
One thing we'll tell you right away: BOSS has not provided any product specifications for this set. There is no material breakdown, no weight, no EAN, and no size information — neither for the halter nor for the length of the rope. We do not fill those gaps with an assumption. If you need this data before deciding, let us know, and we will request it from BOSS.
The set is ordered in Black, Soft Cream, and Camel, each in one size that BOSS designates as Full. The same reservation applies here: without a size chart, we cannot tell you exactly which head circumferences that Full corresponds to.
The Santiago set is not tied to one discipline and looks just as good in a dressage stable as in a jumping stable. If you want to be sure of the exact sizing and material composition of your halter in advance, it is currently better to choose a model for which this data is documented.
