Product Information
The Boss Equestrian Russel Scarf is a knitted scarf from the FW26 collection by Boss Equestrian. The knit consists of 80% wool and 20% polyamide. The wool provides the warm character, while the polyamide makes the yarn stronger and more resistant to daily wear and tear.
Boss Equestrian describes the material itself as soft and warming, with a fine ribbed structure and a discreet logo. This rib gives the scarf some resilience, allowing it to stay neatly around your neck instead of falling open as soon as you move.
For riders, a scarf is primarily an accessory for off the horse: in the stable, while grooming, on the way to a competition, or in the waiting area by the arena. It's best not to wear it while riding. A loose scarf can get caught on a buckle or a branch, and you shouldn't take that risk in the saddle.
One figure from the specification deserves clarification. Boss lists 290 g under the material specification. This is a fabric weight that belongs to the knit, not the weight of the scarf itself: the Russel weighs 206 g gross. We explicitly state this, as the difference could otherwise easily be misinterpreted.
For care, Boss provides clear symbols: wash at 30 °C on a delicate cycle, do not bleach, do not iron, do not dry clean, and do not tumble dry. This is logical for a wool blend. Lay the scarf flat to dry after washing, and the rib will maintain its shape. The scarf is produced in China.
What Boss does not specify are the dimensions: length and width are not included in the provided specifications, and we will not fill those in here based on an assumption. If you need a scarf with an exact known size, please seek advice before ordering.
