Clothing that is too tight or too loose can restrict your freedom of movement and affect your aids. Always measure carefully and use our size charts as a guide.

Between two sizes? We usually recommend the larger size, unless stated otherwise on the product. In our experience, Italian brands (such as Animo, Cavalleria Toscana and Vestrum) tend to come up small.
Rugs
How to measure your horse: using a soft tape measure, measure from the centre of the chest, over the point of the shoulder, horizontally along the body to the furthest point of the hindquarters. This is the total length.
Always check the brand's size chart. A rug size in cm (for example 125 or 145) is the back length for most brands, and how it converts to feet differs per brand. Some brands, such as Bucas, also measure differently. That's why every rug comes with the brand's own size information.
The table below converts the total length from feet to cm. This conversion is the same for every brand.

Product Information
The Boss Equestrian Roma is a knee-high riding sock built to sit comfortably inside a riding boot. It combines a soft, breathable material mix with reinforced heel and toe areas. That makes it as much at home in training and competition as during daily stable work.
About these socks
The socks are made of 71% cotton, 27% polyester and 2% elastane. The high cotton content gives a soft base, and according to Boss Equestrian the material is breathable. That helps keep the climate around your foot pleasant, which matters most on long days in riding boots.
In a riding sock the heel and toes take the hardest wear in daily use. The Roma is reinforced in both places. Those reinforcements are there to slow that wear and, according to the product specifications, also help the fit.
The knee-high cut covers the lower leg and makes the Roma suitable for use inside riding boots. You wear them as a long riding sock across equestrian disciplines; the model is not tied specifically to dressage or jumping.
Boss Equestrian has given the socks a sporty finish. A contrasting logo and a stripe detail carry the brand without getting in the way of the functional properties.
The Roma suits training, competition and everyday stable use. If you are specifically after a strongly insulating sock for very cold conditions, choose a model developed as a thermal winter sock: no thermal or insulating properties are stated for the Roma.
