Product Information
The Boss Equestrian Rachel Reverse Belt Double B is a reversible belt for women, made from 100% leather. By removing the strap from the buckle and turning it over, you get two colours in one accessory: version 001 is black on one side and deep purple on the other, while 228 combines tortoise with tealeaf.
This reversible principle is more than just a nice detail. Those who ride regularly change breeches, and dark training breeches simply require a different finish than light breeches. With two wearable sides in one belt, you don't have to search for the matching colour when changing clothes, and you only need to take one belt with you to a competition or clinic.
The belt is made of 100% leather. Boss Equestrian describes it as soft and finely crafted leather that feels pleasant to the touch. Leather also has the property that it conforms to your shape over time. The provided product specifications do not provide information about the thickness of the leather or the tanning method used, so no statements are made about that here.
The eye-catcher is the Double B metal buckle. With a reversible belt, this buckle is also functional: it allows the strap to be detached, turned over, and reattached. Because the buckle remains visible on both sides, it helps determine the look of your entire outfit. Boss Equestrian itself therefore describes the belt as a statement piece.
For maintenance, Boss Equestrian provides codes C0, B1, R0, and T0: do not bleach, iron at low temperature, do not dry clean, and do not tumble dry. A washing temperature is not mentioned, which is logical for a leather belt. Practically speaking, you should store the belt dry and remove surface dirt with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
The Rachel Reverse Belt is not tied to one discipline and fits equally well with a dressage or jumping outfit. If you mainly work in the stable, among water, mud, and saddle soap, a belt in coated or synthetic material is easier to maintain; leather is simply more sensitive to that. And if you just want one fixed colour that matches everything, a classic, non-reversible belt will suffice.
