Apply the bandages with even pressure; if applied too tightly, they can restrict blood circulation.

During training, check that the Velcro hasn't come undone, especially during intensive exertion.

Close the Velcro before washing the bandages in the washing machine, at a low temperature.

• Wrap the bandage evenly around the horse's lower leg, from top to bottom.
• Ensure even pressure along the entire length, without pulling too tight.
• Secure with the hook-and-loop fastening and check that the bandage does not shift during movement.
• Close the hook-and-loop fastening before washing to prevent entanglement with other laundry.
