Boss Equestrian Minou Training Shirt Ladies

The Minou Training Shirt is cut to fit close to the body. If you want to wear it under a winter jacket or bodywarmer, that's exactly the intention: it adds hardly any bulk under an extra layer. If you prefer to wear it loosely over riding tights, be aware that the cut is not very forgiving.

Wash the shirt at 30 degrees on a delicate cycle and air dry. Do not bleach, do not iron, do not dry clean, and do not tumble dry. Elastane tolerates high temperatures poorly; cold washing and air drying is the simplest way to maintain the stretch in the fabric.

When to use?
For training sessions where you get warm, and in the transitional seasons as a layer under a bodywarmer or jacket.

Not discipline-specific: dressage, show jumping, trail riding, and groundwork.

When is an alternative better?
If you are looking for a shirt to wear under your show jacket for competitions, choose the Minou Show Shirt Double B in white. If you need a really warm winter layer, look for a fleece or a lined mid-layer.

Pull the shirt over your head and zip it up to a height you find comfortable: open, the collar sits low; closed, it fits snugly around the neck. Wear it directly on the skin or over a thin base layer, depending on the outside temperature. After use, wash it at 30 degrees on the delicate cycle and let it air dry; do not tumble dry.

Is this shirt warm enough for winter?Boss Equestrian describes the material as lightweight and breathable, not as insulating. On cold days, it is better to wear it as a mid-layer under a jacket.

Why does the plaid version cost more?The Plaid version is made from a different, plaid quality material. Boss Equestrian charges a higher recommended retail price for this than for the solid colors.

Can this shirt be tumble dried?No. The care instructions from Boss Equestrian exclude tumble drying, as well as bleaching, ironing, and dry cleaning.

Can I compete in this shirt?That depends on the regulations of your federation and the test you are riding. Regulations regarding competition attire are regularly updated; therefore, consult the current regulations of your own federation before entering.
