White competition attire has a short and intensive life. Only take the shirt out of your bag on the day of the competition and put your jacket on as late as possible; this will keep sand and stable dirt off the sleeves. Because the model is close-fitting, it does not create extra volume at shoulder height when worn under a riding jacket.

For maintenance, the same instructions apply as for the rest of the Minou line: wash at 30 degrees on a delicate cycle, do not bleach, do not iron, do not dry clean, and do not tumble dry. For a white shirt, the prohibition on bleaching is the most important restriction; therefore, treat stains promptly and at a low temperature, and not with chlorine-containing products.

When is an alternative better?
If you mainly ride at home or want a colour that doesn't get dirty as quickly, choose the Minou Training Shirt. If your test requires a stock tie or a necktie, you'll need a different type of competition shirt.

Pull the shirt over your head and close the zipper to just below the collar, so that the standing collar remains upright around the neck. Wear it under your riding jacket or, on warmer days and where regulations allow, on its own. After the competition, wash it at 30 degrees on a delicate cycle without bleach and air dry.

Is this shirt regulation-compliant for competition?That depends on your federation, your discipline, and the level at which you compete. Regulations regarding competition attire are regularly revised; please consult the current provisions of your own federation before registering.

What is the difference with the Minou Training Shirt?The construction is the same, but this version is only available in white and is intended to be worn under a riding jacket. The training shirt comes in five solid colors plus a checkered quality, and in more sizes.

Can I treat stains with bleach?No. Boss Equestrian excludes bleaching in the washing instructions, as well as ironing, dry cleaning, and tumble drying. It is better to treat stains quickly and at a low temperature.

Can I wear this shirt without a jacket?Yes, you can; it is a full-fledged shirt with a stand-up collar and a short zipper. Whether it is allowed without a jacket in competition is determined by your federation's regulations.

Which size should I choose?This model is available in XS, S, and M and has a close-fitting cut. We do not have the Boss Equestrian size chart for this shirt and therefore prefer not to give fitting advice; please feel free to contact us, and we will figure it out together.
