Product Information
The Boss Equestrian Long Island Saddle Pad Dressage Teddy is a dressage saddle pad featuring a striking faux teddy fur trim. The model is specifically designed for use under a dressage saddle and combines a multi-layer material construction with the recognizable Double B quilting and Boss embroidery.
The exterior consists of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. Beneath that is an insulating layer of 100% polyester. The inner lining is made of 100% cotton. Thus, the saddle pad combines different materials in a construction specifically tailored for use as a dressage saddle pad.
Characteristic of this Teddy version is the faux teddy fur trim. This finish gives the Long Island saddle pad a distinct look and differentiates it from the regular version without the teddy trim. It is faux fur, not real animal fur.
The rest of the design also aligns with the recognizable style of Boss Equestrian. The surface is quilted with Double B quilting, and an embroidered Boss logo is located on the left side. The quilted pattern also connects the different layers of the saddle pad.
The Long Island Saddle Pad Dressage Teddy is intended for dressage riders and can be used during daily training as well as in competition. Due to its dressage-specific design, the saddle pad is suited for use under a dressage saddle.
When saddling, always place the saddle pad flat and without creases on the horse's back. Then check that it is correctly positioned under the saddle. After riding, you can remove loose hairs and dirt from the cotton lining and teddy trim and allow the saddle pad to dry if it has become damp.
If you are looking for a dressage saddle pad with the same material composition but without the striking faux fur trim, then a regular version would be a more logical choice. If you use a jumping saddle, opt for a specific jumping saddle pad.
