Product Information
The Boss Equestrian Long Island Saddle Pad Dressage is a dressage saddle pad specifically designed for use under a dressage saddle. The combination of a multi-layer material construction, a full cotton lining, and the distinctive Boss Equestrian finish makes this model suitable for dressage riders who want to combine functionality with a neat appearance.
The outer material consists of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. Inside, there is an insulating layer of 100% polyester, while the lining is made entirely of 100% cotton. This construction combines different materials in one dressage saddle pad, with cotton on the side that comes into contact with the horse's coat during riding.
The Long Island saddle pad was developed for dressage sports and therefore has a different application than a jumping saddle pad. Its shape is intended for use under a dressage saddle and matches the longer saddle flaps characteristic of this type of saddle. You can use the saddle pad during both daily dressage training and competitions.
Visually, the Long Island Saddle Pad Dressage stands out with its characteristic Double B-quilting. The quilted pattern gives the surface structure and ensures that the different material layers remain connected. On the left side, the saddle pad is finished with a large embroidered Boss logo.
For correct positioning, it is important to carefully place the saddle pad under the dressage saddle. Lay it flat on the horse's back, avoid creases, and check after saddling that the saddle pad is correctly positioned under the saddle.
This model is particularly interesting if you are specifically looking for a Boss Equestrian dressage saddle pad with a cotton lining and recognizable brand finish. If you primarily ride with a jumping saddle, it is better to choose a jumping saddle pad whose shape is specifically adapted to that type of saddle.
