Between two sizes? We usually recommend the larger size, unless stated otherwise on the product. In our experience, Italian brands (such as Animo, Cavalleria Toscana and Vestrum) tend to come up small.
Rugs
How to measure your horse: using a soft tape measure, measure from the centre of the chest, over the point of the shoulder, horizontally along the body to the furthest point of the hindquarters. This is the total length.
Always check the brand's size chart. A rug size in cm (for example 125 or 145) is the back length for most brands, and how it converts to feet differs per brand. Some brands, such as Bucas, also measure differently. That's why every rug comes with the brand's own size information.
The table below converts the total length from feet to cm. This conversion is the same for every brand.

Product Information
The Boss Equestrian Jules is a ladies' show jacket with a tailored, feminine line, in the colours Tealeaf and Walnut and in sizes XS to M. You wear it at dressage and show jumping competitions when you want a polished silhouette in the ring without giving up freedom of movement. The material is breathable, stretchy and shape-retaining.
About this show jacket
Boss Equestrian developed the Jules for riders who want to keep a sharp line while they work. The precise seam placement and the structured cut are, according to the brand, aimed at keeping shoulders and arms free while you are in the saddle. So you get a tailored jacket that does not pull at the shoulder the moment you bring your hands forward.
The fabric consists of 74% polyamide and 26% elastane. That high proportion of elastane gives the jacket stretch, and you notice it above all in the back and the sleeve head. In the saddle your upper body is constantly moving; a jacket that does not give there pulls at the shoulders as soon as you go into a light seat or go over a fence.
Boss Equestrian describes the material as breathable, stretchy and shape-retaining. In a show jacket that shape retention is at least as important as the stretch: after a course or a test the jacket should still sit neatly on the shoulder instead of feeling dropped out of shape.
At the front there is a three-button fastening, supplemented by fine flap pockets and an extra ticket pocket. The finish is recognisably Boss Equestrian without ever becoming loud: a metal stud with the Double B on the lapel, an imitation leather logo patch on the sleeve. For the rest, the jacket stays deliberately plain, which in the show ring is usually exactly what you want.
Tealeaf and Walnut are two muted shades instead of the classic navy or black base. They give your competition outfit a character of its own while staying quiet enough for a competition setting.
