Clothing that is too tight or too loose can restrict your freedom of movement and affect your aids. Always measure carefully and use our size charts as a guide.

Between two sizes? We usually recommend the larger size, unless stated otherwise on the product. In our experience, Italian brands (such as Animo, Cavalleria Toscana and Vestrum) tend to come up small.
Rugs
How to measure your horse: using a soft tape measure, measure from the centre of the chest, over the point of the shoulder, horizontally along the body to the furthest point of the hindquarters. This is the total length.
Always check the brand's size chart. A rug size in cm (for example 125 or 145) is the back length for most brands, and how it converts to feet differs per brand. Some brands, such as Bucas, also measure differently. That's why every rug comes with the brand's own size information.
The table below converts the total length from feet to cm. This conversion is the same for every brand.

Product Information
The Boss Equestrian Erin Luxury Knit is a finely knitted women's sweater made from a wool-cashmere blend. It is deliberately not a technical riding garment, but knitwear for the moments around riding: in the stable, on the go, and after training. Boss Equestrian itself describes the wearing experience as exceptionally soft and warm.
About this sweater
The composition is 90% wool and 10% cashmere. This ratio determines the character of the sweater: the wool provides warmth, and the small amount of cashmere makes the knit softer against the skin. Boss Equestrian does not provide further technical data on insulation value or moisture regulation, so no claims are made regarding these here.
What gives the Erin its shape is the wide ribbed hem at the bottom. This subtly draws the sweater in at hip height, creating a slightly tailored silhouette instead of a straight, loose fit. Practical if you wear a bodywarmer or jacket over it: the hem stays where it should.
The hem and sleeves feature fine ribbed details that give the knit structure. The classic round neck keeps the model versatile: you can wear the sweater just as well with a blouse underneath as loosely over a training shirt. The sleeves are long and ribbed at the cuffs.
The branding is kept subtle. At the bottom of the hem, there is a metal rivet with the Double B-logo, and on the side, the small Boss Equestrian flag is attached. This sweater doesn't need much more signature.
The Erin Luxury Knit is not tied to a specific discipline and fits equally well in the stable as outside of it. If you are looking for something to wear under a competition jacket or during intensive training, a technical training shirt or a functional vest would be a more logical choice. Also, keep in mind that wool and cashmere require maintenance: fine wash at 30 °C, do not tumble dry.
